About Yass Early Childhood Centre Yass
The Yass Early Childhood Centre Association (YECCA) is a community-based preschool that has been in operation since the 1950s. We have a wonderful history of providing care and education to the families of Yass and the rural surroundings. Due to our long existence in Yass, we have a strong community involvement – this connection is invaluable and one you don’t get in the big cities!
Our team of dedicated and qualified staff is the backbone of the care and education we provide at YECCA. They are a great team, with a wonderful work history at YECCA. They are committed to lifelong learning and are passionate about their jobs.
Our program is based upon the Early Years Learning Framework which is all about Belonging, Being and Becoming. At YECCA we value each child as the unique individual they are – each child brings to our program a richness of diversity. We value family uniqueness and encourage family participation at YECCA. The parent roster is a great way to come and spend some time with your child at preschool and see how they learn through play.
