Silkwood Stars Kindergarten And Early Learning Centre Rowville

Silkwood gave our son all the necessary skills and more for an easy transition in to school. Our younger daughter thrives in the very loving environment. The beautiful ladies who run the centre greet the children like family.

My daughter has been going to Silkwood Stars for the past 2 years. She started at the centre when she was 9months old and has had her fair share of challengers due to a food adversion caused by slient reflux which started when she was 6weeks old as well as anaphalytic allergies to certain foods. Throughout her time at Silkwood Stars , the staff have been fabulous. The carers have been supportive of the initiatives the doctors have put in place as well as shown genuine care for my daughter's health and wellbeing. The care provided by Silkwood Stars is second to none. Not only is my daughter thriving in her learning and development but she is also happy little girl who is excited about going to childcare. I am extremely happy with Silkwood Stars and the caring environment they provide.

Our two children have been attending Silkwood Stars for the past two years. After doing many childcare tours in the area we decided on Silkwood for 3 main reasons:
1. The calm and quiet environment - due to smaller class sizes and the gentle nature of the educators the children are very settled
2. The kind and caring educators - all of the teachers at Silkwood are so warm and affectionate towards the children. This was very important to us as a family as our children were going to be spending three full days per week there.
3. The natural environment - Silkwood has actual grass in their outdoor play area and they also have little veggie patches where the children learn to tend to the garden. The teachers are also very skilled in assisting children who have additional needs. When our eldest son first started attending Silkwood he had a lot of challenges especially when it came to sensory processing, socializing and communicating his needs. His educators were very proactive in identifying these issues, gave him the ongoing help and support he has needed and also kept an open line of communication with us. He has come such a long way (especially socially) and his progress has been incredible to see! We couldn't be happier with the wonderful community at Silkwood Stars and would highly recommend this childcare centre!

After changing four daycares we finally find Silkwood, where both our kids are happy & their needs are met. There are many good points about Silkwood here are some highlights.
Hygiene; They washing babies’ hands before eating (not like some daycares that don’t wash babies hand or give them a nappy wipe). The floors are swept & mopped plus the tables & high chairs are shiny clean. This is important because our kids seem to get sick less here now!
Sleep time; Wow a quite room for kids to sleep where our youngster gets enough sleep (Noisy not sleepy kids are playing in another room where they don’t disturb the sleeping kids so much). 
Education; I was surprised to find my son could tell me the names of the planets after two week at Silkwood. He also now has learnt many more interest things. I nearly fall off the chair when he could point out shapes octagon, pentagon, nonagon from a book which we had just started to read (I didn’t remember some of these names). My wife wishes we found this daycare earlier...

I moved to Silkwood Stars for another center, beause my child was not happy there. She was not sleeping and very unsettled. I was told that "Some babies are nanny babies", she wont adjust to child care. At Silkwood Stars, she settled straight away. She loves going there and waves me goodbye when I leave her. I feel so relieved. I can go about my day not worrying if she will be crying. I know she is happy and very well looked after by the staff. All staff members including Janthi are very co-operative and loving towards the children, and very accommodating with us parents. They empathise with us parents, and truly feel for our family. I would recommend, and already have recommended Silkwood Stars to all my friends.

My daughter has been in the centre since she was 8 months old. The outdoor area is fantastic and the staff members are so friendly and supportive. Rooms are always neat and tidy with different activities set up for the children. They cater for all the children's needs and put lots of effort on the children as every time when I pick up my daughter, I see teachers or the director teaching the children who need additional support how to pronounce the words and express their feelings with patience. I feel safe to send my kids there as no accidents happen at all. All the families are respected and we are invited for different events such as water play day, graduation party. The kids have great funs and love the activities.

5 Star daycare! Recommended! We have been going to Silkwood Stars for a long time. All of our kids are happy to go to daycare at Silkwood Stars. Silkwood Star have such warm, caring & loving staff. I feel so at ease leaving my daughter here & every time i pick her up she is all smiles. The centre offers so many great activities i have seen my daughter grow & learn so many new skills from being here only 2 days a week. I would highly reccomend this beautiful childcare centre to families in the area.
